Growing Company, Great to Work For.

Moving from Vermont to Boston was a big change, and I came here not knowing anyone. Since the first day I arrived to work at encore everyone has been very friendly and helpful, which made the transition into the company effortless. As an apprentice they really make a strong effort to personalize my schedule based on my knowledge and strengths along with the things that I need to learn. In the time that I’ve been employed at Encore I have been actively learning everyday, and have also had fun with co workers getting jobs done. They are giving me all the tools I need to strive toward the goal of becoming a licensed sprinkler fitter, and I plan to be employed with encore for the foreseeable future.

Opportunity For Advancement

Encore is a great company to work for. I stared at Encore 8 years ago as an apprentice and have worked my way up to a management position. One great thing about this company is they recognize hard work and performance and reward it with opportunity to advance further within the company. The leadership team at Encore truly invests in their employees and has created a work environment that allows people to “Learn on the fly” and preaches that its ok to make mistakes in the process. I would recommend Encore to any hard working individual who is looking to start a career with a company who truly has glass ceilings. I hope this company continues to develop so I can too.

Getting to Be A Journeyman

I started out as an apprentice at Encore 6 years ago and they helped me get my license as a sprinkler fitter in both ri and ma. The experience I got is great and I truly can't thank Encore enough for giving me this opportunity. There aren't many apprenticeships out there that not only pay but also take care of the paperwork, etc. with each state. This is a trade that pays well and I am proud of what I do.

Unlimited Growth Potential

Really enjoy my coworkers. They are humble, friendly, and skilled. Encore doesn't over exert you but does challenge you to bring your best each day. Lots of people to learn from but it is up to you to take advantage of that. You are not micromanaged and if you put 110% in you can go far within the company. CEO and President are very involved in enhancing and maintaining the culture.

Journey At Encore

Encore was the start of my career post college. I got lucky to come across their hiring post when I did and 2 1/2 years later I couldn't see myself working anywhere else. I've learned and grown so much in my short time here that it amazes me. Even though we have 3 different offices, in 3 different states, it feels like we're just one big team. There's room for growth and even if there aren't roles that need to be filled, I feel like you can create one! That kind of flexibility is great and you can't find it at many places.
